As a mum of three boys, I love to encourage them to play outdoors. It helps burn off some of that excess energy, gives them a healthy dose of fresh air and keeps them entertained and engaged. I'm a big fan of outdoor toys for these reasons. Recently, Jaques of London kindly sent us a Giant Tumbling Tower which I couldn't wait to give to my three boys to encourage them to enjoy some happy garden play!
The Giant Tumble Tower from Jaques of London is a wonderful, high-quality product which consists of chunky pine blocks that can be stacked to create a tower. Each player takes it in turns to remove a block and place it at the top of the tower all the while trying to keep the tower upright. The more blocks that are removed, the higher (and wobblier) the tower becomes!
The tower is 2ft high when set up at the start of the game but then can reach heights of 3ft throughout play! It's great for helping children develop patience and concentration. It also helps them to develop their fine motor skills as they will have to carefully remove a block from somewhere in the tower and gently place it on the top of the tower. The size of the tower, which is larger than the traditional tumble tower games will really appeal to children. Giant garden games are a really fun way to encourage children to play outdoors, to keep active and to interact with others.
Younger children will also like to simply build with the blocks and this can provide hours of entertainment for them. The game can also be played indoors for those times when you wish to keep the children amused and occupied in the house.
The Giant Tumbling Tower comes with a high-quality canvas bag to keep all the pieces safe and secure and is handy for when your little one wants to take the game out and about with them, maybe for a family picnic, to a grandparent's house or even to the park!
Jaques of London have lots of great garden toys to play with which will provide children with many hours of entertainment and will help them to make some happy childhood memories!
