Updating My Summer Wardrobe with Yours Clothing!

It's been a long time since I updated the items in my wardrobe and that is mainly due to losing a bit of confidence in how I look post-pregnancy, in the styles that suit me and in my own style preferences. The clothes I tend to wear in summer are most often black vest tops with shorts and it's fair to say that some of these have certainly seen better days. I've made a few attempts to update my wardrobe by visiting our local shopping centre in previous months, but often leave empty-handed and disappointed! And so when Yours Clothing got in touch to see if I would like to try some of their products, I was delighted. What a wonderful opportunity to select some new pieces for my wardrobe!

As an attempt to step away from the shorts and vest top style I've been rocking in summer for about 15 years(!) I decided to select some dresses. I like the idea that many summer dresses are practical enough for wearing during the day, for running errands, shopping or simply for wearing at home, or they can be worn for evenings out. They are also great options when it comes to keeping cool during the summer. So, which ones did I select?

Yours London Curve Navy Blue Pocket Maxi Dress
Firstly I chose this navy maxi dress. Navy is a colour I feel confident in as I tend to gravitate towards darker colours. This gorgeous dress has an elasticated waistband, short sleeves and a scoop neckline. It's a full length dress and is made from stretchy jersey fabric which is soft to touch. What's more, it even has pockets! I like that this dress is suitable for wearing casually, or you can team it with some silver sandals or block heels and accessorise it with jewellery for evenings out! 

Yours London Curve Green Dalmatian Print Midi Wrap Dress

Next up, I chose this lovely dalmatian print, wrap dress. I wanted to select something with a pattern to try and shake my usual style up a bit. This dress has a dalmatian print and is green in colour. It features a v neck, is a wrap style dress and has a belt that ties around the waist. This is a really flattering dress and looks great when teamed with heels!

I then selected this gorgeous green maxi dress. It has a flattering v neckline, short sleeves, a side split and pockets! It would make a beautiful evening outfit and I think it looks great when teamed up with gold accessories. It is also a lovely outfit for daytime relaxing too. I was pleased to have selected a dress in this beautiful colour which is a step away from my usual choice of black and navy colours.

Finally, I selected a maxi dress in my trusted black! I love this dress as there are so many ways to style it and it can be teamed with accessories and shoes in different colours. It is very comfortable and flattering and can look both low-key casual, or elegant and chic!
